App Start Contest is the leading student competition in mobile and web applications that has been organized by the eSTUDENT student association already for 11 years now.
The aim of the competition is to bring students of different interests (software engineering, design, and entrepreneurship) around one project and link them with leading Croatian experts. Students are most often assembled in a multidisciplinary team that takes care of the technical, business and visual aspects of their solution.
In addition to competing, the App Start Contest also has educational character. Numerous lectures and workshops were organized during the competition, where students wanted to bring new trends and knowledge closer to relevant areas related to application development.
Applications for ASC will run since January 16, until February 2, 2019.
By enrolling in this competition, students will expand their knowledge and skills, learn how to work in the team, meet business partners who are experts in the field, gain experience that can be highlighted in the labor market, and they could also win the rich cash prizes. The winning team will win 20,000 HKN, second place will bring 13,000, and the third 7,000 HKN. In addition, the best-designed application will receive a reward of 3,000 HKN.
