Lecture by H.E. W. Robert Kohorst, Ambassador of the USA

With regard to the receiving prestigious AACSB accreditation on October 16, 2019, the Faculty of Economics & Business will be visited by H.E. W. Robert Kohorst, Ambassador of the United States of America to the Republic of Croatia, who will give a lecture on Four factors that increase chances for entrepreneurial success.
 
The lecture is intended for all interested parties and will be held on October 16, 2019, at 11 am in the Congress Hall.

H.E. Robert Kohorst assumed the post of US Ambassador to the Republic of Croatia in January 2018. Ambassador Kohorst is a prominent American entrepreneur with experience in law, real estate, and finance. He has been president and founder of Everest Properties in Pasadena, California since 1991, and in addition to his expertise in the real estate business, Mr. Kohorst is known for his entrepreneurial skills, management skills, and extensive financial experience. He has also made significant contributions to many public services and education as a director and past chairman of the Young Presidents' Organization, San Gabriel Valley Chapter, as a member of Loyola Marymount University Council in Los Angeles, California, as a member of School Council of the La Salle High School in Pasadena, California and as director and past president of the San Gabriel Valley United States Scout Council.
 
He was previously Chairman of RK Holdings, Inc., Los Angeles, California (1990-1991), President of Private Placement Group for Public Storage, Inc., Glendale, California (1984-1990), Attorney and Partner at the Law Firm Albert & Ellis, Los Angeles, California (1982-1984), Attorney at the Law Firm Hufstedler, Miller, Carlson & Beardsley, Los Angeles, California (1979-1982) and Advisor to Judge Albert Engel at the Court of Appeal USA, 6th Circuit, Grand Rapids, Michigan (1978-1979). He has also been a member of numerous private and public committees.
 
Ambassador Kohorst graduated from Dayton University in Dayton, Ohio in 1975 and received his Ph. D. in law in 1978 from the Ann Arbor Law School, University of Michigan.
