At the meeting held on November 12, 2018, at the occasion of the beginning of the first semester, a new generation of PhD students in Economics and Business Economics was welcomed by Dean of the Faculty Prof. Jurica Pavičić, PhD, Head of study Prof. Đurđana Ozretić Došen, PhD, and the Secretaries of the study Assistant Professor Sandra Horvat, PhD and Assistant Professor Vatroslav Škare, PhD.
The new generation of participants has 28 candidates, by which the PhD programs Economics and Business Economics continue to achieve excellent enrolment results.
The meeting on the occasion of the beginning of classes, attended by new generation of participants, members of the Faculty Management Board and lecturers, was in the formal part dedicated to informing the participants about the tradition of education of doctoral students at the Faculty of Economics & Business in Zagreb, the experiences of previous students and the expected challenges with which the participants during the study will to meet. There was a brief informal gathering after which by the lecture of the Mathematics for Economic Analysis course conducted by Prof. Zrinka Lukač, PhD, started the first semester.
