Freshman Workshop - Active Learning - A Skill for Easy Adaptation to College

Dear freshmen,

In order to help you to get grips with new situations and new college commitments in the first semester, this year we have organized for you an active learning workshop, entitled: Active Learning - A Skill for Adaptation to College.

The workshop aims to encourage the development of active learning skills. Learning as a process of knowledge acquisition is a basic activity of students that many have problems with at the beginning of their studies. In this workshop, we will give you tips on how to avoid the most common learning problems and introduce you to different methods of active learning that can certainly help you find your winning formula for successful learning as quickly as possible. The workshop is also based on the practical application of the above methods adapted to the course Mathematics.

The workshop will be held on October 10, 2019, from 4 pm to 5.30 pm in Hall 3.

We invite all students interested in participating in the workshop to register at this link - Apply for a workshop - Active Learning. The number of participants in the workshop is limited. Applications are open until Wednesday, Oct. 9 or until the number is filled.

Preference at registration goes to the students who were the best, ie. students who successfully completed the pre-course in Mathematics.

Greeting,
Chair of Mathematics
