The International Scientific Conference TAKE - Theory and Applications in Knowledge Economy was held in the period from July 12 to July 15, 2017. at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Zagreb. The conference organizers were the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Zagreb together with the Universidade de Aveiro (Portugal).
This conference was attended by numerous participants from all over the world, and the guests welcomed the Vice-Dean for International Cooperation of the Faculty of Economics and Business Jurica Pavičić, PhD and as the mambers of the programme commitee of the conference Blaženka Knežević, PhD and Eduardo Tome, PhD.
The conference is devoted to multidisciplinary research in the field of knowledge economy. The conference was attended by 90 participants from 20 countries from the United States of America and Mexico to Thailand and South Africa. There were 61 papers, 5 posters, and 5 guest lectures by professors: Manfred Bornemann (Austria), Gary N. McLean (USA), Costantin Bratian (Romania), Velimir Srića (Croatia), and Markus F. Peschl (Austria).
