Faculty of Economics proudly congratulates alumni Šime Fantela o winning the Olympic champion in sailing! An impressive performance at the Olympic regatta in Rio, in the class of 470 Sime Fantela (pictured right) and Igor Marenić became the Croatian Olympic champions in sailing. With the title of Olympic winner, Sime and Igor have already won the title of world and European champions. This exceptional sports achievements Sime and Igor showed that professional sport does not preclude academic education. We are especially proud to SIme Fantela who graduated in 2010 at the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb at the Department of Finance.
