Danubius Young Scientist Award 2016

 A tender was published for the award to the best young scientists in the Danube region area for 2016 – Danubius Young Scientist Award 2016.
14 prizes will be awarded, each in the amount of 1,200 euros, to fourteen young scientists – each to one scientist from every country that is part of the Danube region (Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Czech Republic, Croatia, Hungary, Moldova, Germany, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Serbia and Ukraine). Every candidate must be nominated by his scientific organization (university, academy, etc.).

The number of nominations per the scientific organization is limited to three candidates which must be from different faculties or departments, institutes or research groups within a particular organization. An international jury will determine the final ranking of all submitted nominations and the highest ranked candidate from each country will be nominated for the award.

Given the fact that the candidates nominated by the parent university, please send us your candidate suggestions with all necessary documents at the latest by Friday, 6th May 2016 on

The deadline when the University must submit nominations is May 17, 2016. The awards ceremony will be held in October or November 2016.
