UNICA IRO Meeting 2016

In the Postgraduate Center Dubrovnik of the University of Zagreb, an annual meeting of international relations offices of universities members of the UNICA network will be held on 26th and 27th April 2016. Meetings of representatives of international relations offices of universities that are located in the capitals of Europe are being held since 1995 with the aim of exchanging information on new approaches and practices in the field of internationalization and international cooperation of higher education institutions.

Moreover, the topics dealt with in this year's collection are facilitating administrative procedures for the mobility of students coming from non-member states of the EU and activities and innovative projects in the Erasmus+ and KA2 programs. The meeting is  attended by more than 50 representatives of universities from the European capital cities.
The program of the annual meeting of the representatives of international relations offices of universities network members UNICA will begin by a introductory speech from the president of the UNICA network, Luciano Saso from the University of Sapienza in Rome (video-addressing) and the vice-rector for science, inter-institutional and international cooperation of the University of Zagreb, prof. dr. sc. Miloš Judaš.
UNICA is a network of 46 universities from the capital cities of Europe whose role is to promote academic excellence, integration and co-operation among member states across Europe. UNICA also seeks to be a driving force for the development of the Bologna process and to facilitate the integration of universities from Central and Eastern Europe into the European higher education space. The network implements its activities through a number of thematic working groups.
