The competition for scholarships for JOSZEF program at WU Vienna, Austria for the academic year 2016./2017. - Deadline for applications 18.04.2016.

JOSZEF (Junge Middle und Osteuropäische Studierende als zukünftig Erfolgreiche Führungskräfte) is a mobility-oriented practice for 2 semesters at Wirtschaftsuniversitat Vienna.

Classes are held in German and partly in English.

 

Requirements:

- Students enrolled into their third or fourth year of undergraduate studies in economics or business economy in the next academic year 2016./2017.

- Excellent knowledge of German and English (B2 level)

 

Documents should be submitted to the mailroom office at the FEB Zagreb until Monday, April 18th, 2016.

 

Required documents for registration:

- CV in German

- Motivation letter in German

- Proof of excellent knowledge of the German language

- Proof of excellent knowledge of English

- Transcript in English

- Documentation of work experience / practice in English

 

The JOSZEF program was launched in 1994 and so far has already more than 300 alumni members. Students on this program acquire knowledge and management and intercultural skills related to Central and Eastern Europe and its recent history. All the time the students work within intercultural groups and become members of the JOSZEF network. During lectures, when visiting companies and study tours, as well as the legendary JOSZEF social events students have the opportunity to meet and mingle with colleagues from partner universities in Central and Eastern Europe and JOSZEF corporate partners. JOSZEF closely cooperates with companies from Central and Eastern Europe. East-West Project seminar is always organized in cooperation with partner companies. Students have organized visits to enterprise partners. The program is very intense, a student practice with a focus on Central and Eastern Europe is a central part of the JOSZEF program.

Preselection of candidates shall be carried out at the Faculty of Economics Zagreb. Interviews will be held at the Faculty of Economics after the deadline for submission of documents, which the candidates will be informed by e-mail.

 

The maximum number of students that may be proposed by the Faculty of Economics WU is 2.

 

The final selection is done by WU Vienna. Before the start of the winter semester 2016./2017. Candidates will be invited to a mandatory two-day presentation JOSZEF programs and assessment (assesment centers) in Austria in order to finally determine if the candidates satisfy the required criteria. WU Vienna, in the event that a student does not meet the required criteria for JOSZEF program on assessment, offer one-semester academic exchange at WU in the framework of bilateral exchanges with FEB.
