The European Forum Alpbach - scholarships, seminars

The European Forum Alpbach was founded in 1945 with the idea making peace in Europe. Every year since then under the overarching theme of the Forum seminars and symposia are being held to discuss the flaming issues in the field of European and international politics, law, economy, financial markets, health care, higher education and technology. The official program is completed with a fun and challenging social and cultural program.

The Forum brings together more than 5,000 participants over 17 days from different areas of activity: professionals, scientists, graduates and 700 young scholars from all over the world. All participants gather in Alpbach, a small village in the Alps, which lives in the spirit of current ideas every summer.

Persons between the ages of 18 and 30 can apply for a scholarship. Applications for the scholarship of European Forum Alpbach, Austria's most prestigious conference, are open until March 31, 2016.

It is possible to sign up for different parts of the program of the European Forum Alpbach: seminar week, summer schools, symposia and other facilities, which have different dates and times. Application deadline is 31st March 2016.
