Introductory Lesson for Freshmen Held

At the Faculty of Economics and Business in Zagreb on Monday, October 5th 2015, the first joint lesson was held for all first year students.

The Welcome and keynote speech to the students were addressed by prof. dr. sc. Lajoš Žager, the dean of the faculty. The lesson was also attended by prof. dr. sc. Nataša Erjavec, vice dean for science, postgraduate and doctoral studies, assoc. prof. dr. sc. Anita Pavković, vice dean for business and administration, assoc. prof. dr. sc. Mislav Ante Omazić, vice dean for education, students and quality management and prof. dr. sc. Jurica Pavičić, vice dean for international relations and accreditation.

 

The words of support to new students were also sent by Ivan Sesar, president of the Student Union, while Nataša Dobrenić, Head of Public Relations of the University Computing Centre – SRCE, presented the work of the center as well as the features and services that are available to students.

 

The first joint lesson for freshmen was enriched by the appropriate program performed by the choir of the Faculty of Economics and Business - Sonus oeconomicus.

 

On the occasion of the start of classes, an introductory lesson was also held for students of the Bachelor Degree in Business (BDiB) study. Students were addressed by the vice dean for education, students and quality management assoc. prof. dr. sc. Mislav Ante Omazić, vice dean for international relations and accreditation prof. dr. sc. Jurica Pavičić and head of the study program Professor Mario Spremić.

 

On the same day, the first joint lesson for students first year of professional studies was held at the Scientific - Institutional Campus Borongaj. The opening speech and welcome to the students was given by prof. dr. sc. Boris Sisek, head of professional studies.
