Quality Management

Quality management system at the Faculty of Economics & Business, University of Zagreb is based on adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements in the areas of science and higher education (Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area), and in the ISO 9001:2015 provisions.

Internal quality assurance and management system of the Faculty of Economics & Business (FEB) - Zagreb is an integrated system of management based on the ESG standards and directions, ISO 9001:2015 norms as well as the AACSB and EPAS accreditation on standards for the BDiB study programme.

The Faculty of Economics & Business (FEB) - Zagreb is committed to improving its processes, particularly those in the areas of teaching and scientific research, which is evident from the attainment of the ISO 9001:2000 certificate in quality management system on 22 May 2008, and ISO 9001:2015 on 19 May 2017. This certificate verifies that FEB’s quality management system is harmonised with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2000 international standard. QMS applies to all processes at FEB: scientific and research, teaching, administrative and managerial.

FEB management is responsible for the quality management system and all system related activities are coordinated by the representative of the quality management who cooperates with the committees of the Faculty Council in charge of carrying out and monitoring quality aims. The Committee for Teaching Quality and Enhancement is most active in all undertakings related to providing and managing the quality of the teaching, and the scientific and research processes and procedures.
 
The quality management system at FEB is defined in the following documents: Quality Manual, Quality Policy and Aims, Procedures and Work Instructions. All documents have been harmonised with the legal acts, EU standards FEB and guidelines for quality assurance in higher education. In the published Quality Policy the Dean has emphasised the importance of on-going reinforcement of all processes and activities aimed at continuous meeting the users’ requirements with particular attention to the quality of their implementation. The processes and procedures clearly define the responsibilities concerning particular activities, measuring methods and analyses whose records are regularly maintained.
