Guest lecture by Professor Timothy S. Kiessling

Professor Timothy S. Kiessling from Bilkent University, Turkey will give a guest lecture “Global Business Opens New Markets, New Competitors: Strategy Formulation Consequences” on course International business on October 14, 2013 at 12 o´clock  in lecture room 36.
 
Timothy S. Kiessling  has a Marketing/Management PhD focusing on Global Business Strategy from the University of Oklahoma, a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) and CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), and an Undergraduate degree and MBA in Finance from the University of Baltimore, that was financed through soccer and lacrosse scholarships.  Dr. Kiessling has over 20 years of international business experience as a businessman before switching to academia.  He has worked for firms such as PriceWaterhouse/Coopers, Booz Allen & Hamilton, Northrup Grumman, Alcatel, etc. and held management titles such as Controller, Middle East Financial Auditor, up to CFO-Europe, until his career change into academia.  He has lived many years outside of the country and worked in Australia, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Egypt, Canada, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Bahrain, Abu Dhabi, and Oman.
