26th CROMAR Congress “Looking forward! Marketing from past to future”

In collaboration with CROMAR (Croatian Association of Marketing) and the Department of Marketing, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Zagreb, the 26th CROMAR Congress entitled “Looking forward! Marketing from past to the future" will take place on Dec. 12 and 13, 2019 at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Zagreb.
 
It is a congress prepared by an international program committee with the contribution of domestic and foreign reviewers, which resulted in the acceptance of 33 papers from Croatia and abroad.
 
The Opening Ceremony of the Congress will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2019, at 10:00, in Hall 3. The participants of the Congress will be addressed by Prof. Jurica Pavičić, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Economics & Business, University of Zagreb, and  Asst. Prof. Mario Banožić, Ph.D., President of CROMAR (Croatian Marketing Association), as well as Chairs of the Program Committee and Organizing Committee.
 
After that, a plenary session will follow beginning with the keynote speech delivered by Mr. Marin Pucar, MA, CEO of Podravka dd, within the theme of the session Marketing from past to future.
 
On Friday, December 13, 2019, starting at 9.30 am in Hall 3, Mr. Nikola Vrdoljak, Partner in Communication Agency 404, will give a keynote speech within the framework of the topic of the "Looking forward" session.
 
The Congress will feature papers covering ten areas of social media, methodological issues in marketing, product and brand management, consumer behavior, food marketing, as well as other specific areas within marketing during ten parallel sessions.
 
During the Congress, awards will be distributed for the best student papers in the field of marketing, namely the award for the best graduate thesis, the award for the best student project/business case, and the award for the best doctoral thesis.
 
A day before the start of the Congress, on Wednesday, December 11, 2019, there will be a doctoral workshop led by Professor Mary Brennan (University of Edinburgh Business School) and interested doctoral students will attend the workshop.
 
The official language of Congress is English.
